Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, born on December 7 7 1963, in Edo State, Nigeria, grew up in a family of faith, supported by his loving and dedicated parents. He is the oldest son born to Elder T.E Oyakhilome, one of the early pioneers of the Assemblies of God Church in Benin City, and Angelina, and the mother of the Oyakhilome family who imprinted her divine grace upon her son from a young age.

The LoveWorld ministry encompasses all members of the family. Reverend Ken is his brother and is the revered Pastor at Christ Embassy’s Houston Texas Church. He is also a member the Christ Embassy Central Executive Council. Pastor Chris Oyakhilome KattyWorghiren is the director of the LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry that houses a number of top gospel artists.

Pastor Chris has two daughters: Carissa Sharon and Charlene. Carissa Sharon chose to follow her father’s lead of sharing God’s Word to the world. Also known as CSO (Community Service Organization) She is a talented gospel singer and is a part of the LoveWorld Music and Arts community.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome studied at Edo College before winning a scholarship to pursue a degree in architecture at Bendel State University, known now as Ambrose Ali University, where the student earned a BSc in Architecture as well as an honorary Doctor of Science award. He also has awarded an honorary doctorate in divinity from Benson Idahosa University. Ambrose Ali University was the place where he sensed God calling him to become a minister for the Lord.
