Pastor of faith, faith healer TV host, author, Chris Oyakhilome who is referred to by his fans as Pastor Chris, is the founder and president of LoveWorld Incorporated, also called Christ Embassy, located in Lagos, Nigeria. Pastor Chris: The Man

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was born December 7th, 1963, in Edo State in Nigeria. Pastor Chris Oyakhilome received his education in Edo College. He then was awarded an award to study architecture at Bendel State University. He is also a doctoral honorary from Benson Idahosa University in divinity. While at Ambrose Ali University, he received a call from God to go into the ministry and become a servant to the Lord.

The Man Of God was a student at University when he founded the church which would eventually grow to become one of largest in the world. His prayer group, called ‘Youth for Christ’ would eventually become one of campus’ most well-known groups. These would go on to form LoveWorld Incorporated and Christ Embassy with millions of followers.

Under Pastor Chris’s leadership, LoveWorld became a pioneer of satellite television and Christian programming. LOVEWORLDSAT was first Christian television station to broadcast from Africa throughout the day on free-to air channels. There are LoveWorld satellite and cable television stations around the world.

Christ Embassy has a strong presence in Pastor Chris’s native Nigeria, South Africa, the United Kingdom, Canada, and the United States. The church has two Healing Schools located in South Africa. These schools are where Pastor Chris organizes sessions during the season that allow miraculous events to occur.

Songs and Gospel Music are also an essential part of worship. Pastor Chris encourages Christ Embassy Churches have a choir trained and supervised by the Loveworld Music and Arts Ministry. Many of these performers have had successful solo careers.

He founded the Chris Oyakhilome Foundation (COFI) which is a non-profit, non-governmental organisation with the aim of helping the most disadvantaged communities and individuals in the most deprived regions and countries around the world.

Alongside preaching the Gospel, the Man of God has also created a variety of non-profit organizations that have the mission of providing essential services and hope to those who are poor, in need or uninformed. COFI is supported by five partners, all of whom are dedicated to improving the living standard in the most remote regions.

Under the auspices COFI are the InnerCity Mission (ICM) for children The Volunteer Medical Corps (VMC), Trauma Care International Foundation (TCIF), Future Africa Leaders Foundation (FALF), and the Bible For All Mission.
