I save this for very uncommon vegetation which simply cannot stand to be very moist, but they can’t stand to be completely dry either so they need to be watered regularly. Cacti are the alternative, they like a good drink of water and are quite pleased in moist soil for a number of days, a few of them even saturated or flooded sometimes.

They can trail when mature and look nice in hanging containers. Here are two plants I even have grown from offshoots of my authentic plant above.
